Cleansing

Both morning and evening skin care should start with a thorough cleansing of the skin of the face and neck. Washing the face not only refreshes and stimulates the skin – it also allows for more effective absorption of active ingredients, supporting the action of care cosmetics. Evening skin cleansing allows to remove make-up, impurities accumulated during the day, and remnants of sunscreens from your face. It is worth remembering to dry your face with a towel after washing. Dry, do not wipe – gently putting a towel to the face is completely sufficient, and we will also avoid the risk of skin irritation during rubbing.

Toning

Evening and morning skin toning helps to remove remnants after washing the face and to balance the skin’s pH level. The toner can be patted into the skin with your fingertips or applied using a soft cotton pad.

Concentrate

A concentrate, like serum, is designed for skin struggling with specific problems. We use both products both in the evening and in the morning. Both also have a light consistency and are quickly absorbed. However, if our skin care ritual includes both of these cosmetics, we should use a concentrate first. After applying a concentrate to the face, it is worth waiting a minute or two to avoid diluting the highly concentrated active ingredients.

Serum

A face serum deeply penetrates the skin and absorbs quickly. Its formula is designed to combat a specific skin problem, such as wrinkles, dry skin or uneven skin tone. Serum is not a substitute for cream – it does not create a protective barrier on the skin, but reinforces the action of a cream and enhances its effects. It is worth remembering that due to high concentration of active ingredients in the serum, it is enough to apply a small amount of the cosmetic to the skin to enjoy the effects of its action. We use serum for both day and night.

Eye cream

The skin under the eyes is a particularly sensitive area of ​​the face that requires delicate care. On the one hand, the skin under the eyes is the driest zone of the face, on the other hand, the skin of our eyelids is the oiliest – making dedicated eye-area care essential. Using an eye cream in the morning and evening helps to deal with the problem of puffiness, dark circles under the eyes, as well as thin and tired skin. To enhance your skincare routine and prevent puffiness, you can perform a lymphatic drainage massage while applying your eye cream. Using your ring fingers, which exert the least pressure, apply the cream to the skin and gently massage around the eyes, following the bones of the eye socket. Move inward along the upper part of the eye and outward along the lower part, ensuring your fingers don’t stretch the skin.

Day cream and night cream

Day creams are the most important protective barrier that we can provide for our skin. By using a face cream during our morning skincare rituals, we protect the skin from the harmful effects of environmental stressors, UV radiation, free radicals and the risk of damaging the hydrolipid barrier. Using a day cream also prepares the skin for makeup. The last, yet equally important, benefit of using creams is providing the skin with nourishing formulas that deliver effective care. Face creams can also be used on the skin of the neck and décolletage. When applying, perform circular, gentle movements and avoid skin stretching.

Night creams do not contain SPF filters, their formula is thicker and they absorb more slowly – they do not have to protect us from environmental factors. Using a night cream allows for deep and intensive reconstruction of the skin barrier during sleep.

Night mask

A night mask is a highly concentrated cosmetic that should be used 2 or 3 times a week, about half an hour before bedtime. A thick layer of the preparation should be applied with your fingertips to the cleansed skin of the face and neck. Depending on your skin’s needs, the mask is applied before or instead of a night cream.
